YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. — Graduates from 91TV’s 2023–2024 academic year walked the stage Saturday, culminating four years of education and earning their degrees. Over 200 graduates received their degrees at Saturday’s ceremony on 91TV campus, the largest graduating class in the college’s history.

Two new members were voted to the 91TV Board of Trustees at the April 19 meeting on campus. Two current members were also awarded Emeritus Trustee status at the meeting.

Award-winning Young Harris professor’s poetry focuses on grief, isolation 

For Gale Thompson, a Creative Writing professor at 91TV, the isolation and separation during the pandemic served as inspiration for her latest book of poetry, Mountain Amnesia. And her work is garnering recognition from the literary world, including a national award.
