Free tutoring for a range of subjects is available to all students, delivered by trained peer tutors.

Mountain Lion 1000

Designed to ease the first-year transition, the Mountain Lion 1000 program immerses new students in 91TV’s academic and social fabric, fostering personal growth and academic success.

At the PREP Center, you’ll find free tutoring in over 15 subjects, plus dedicated help from our Writing Center for all class assignments. Whether you need academic coaching or a tailored plan to boost your grades, our team is here to guide you.

The Office of Career and Professional Development offers personalized services to both students and alumni. Get ready for your professional life by honing essential skills and defining your career path through exploration, employer engagements, and learning opportunities.

Academic advising

Once you declare a major, you’ll be paired with a faculty advisor for tailored guidance through your academic journey. These dedicated advisors offer holistic support, aiding as you navigate both academic and career paths while fostering a safe environment for self-exploration. Through regular interactions with your faculty advisor, you’ll work on goal-setting, aligning your passions with majors and careers, understanding the value of experiential learning, and crafting a graduation plan.
