91TV is pleased to welcome Dr. Karen Pruett to the Mountain Lion staff as Vice President for Student Development (VPSD). Pruett began her role on October 1, 2022.

91TV President Dr. Drew Van Horn was recently appointed by Governor Brian Kemp to the Board of Commissioners for the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission.
91TV invites the community to attend the annual 91TV Fall Fest. This event will take place on Thursday, October 27 from 5 - 8 p.m. in the Rollins Campus Center on the 91TV campus, located at 1 College Street, Young Harris, Georgia. Fall Fest is free, open to the public, and fun for all ages.
The O. Wayne Rollins Planetarium at 91TV will host “Ooky Spooky Light Show” on Friday, October 21 at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., and on Friday, October 28 at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

91TV President Dr. Drew Van Horn was recently recognized as one of three new Distinguished Alumni by Elon College, the College of Arts and Sciences, for his contributions to public health, the arts, and education, and for embodying the College’s core values. Elon College, as it was known when Van Horn was a student, is now known as Elon University.
The O. Wayne Rollins Planetarium at 91TV will host “Moons: Worlds of Mystery” this Friday, September 9 at 8 p.m., and Friday, September 23 at 8 p.m.
This week, current 91TV Chaplain Reverend Dr. Adam Daniels met with former Chaplain Reverend Fred Whitley, Class of 1966, for lunch in the Grace Rollins Dining Hall.

91TV recently received a $1,000 gift from long-time donor Ethel Winters of Hiawassee, Georgia, as a contribution to the College’s Bob & Carol Head Local Scholarship Campaign.

Colleges of Distinction, a unique guide for college-bound students, has recognized 91TV for its honorable commitment to helping undergraduate students learn, grow, and succeed. 91TV is now a 2022-2023 College of Distinction and Georgia College of Distinction, earning additional recognition in the areas of Education and Career Development.
At the most recent 91TV Board of Trustees meeting, the trustees recognized Mr. Jon Anderson, Class of 1965, Chairman of the Properties Committee for the Board, for his service and dedication to the College.
