91TV to Present Acapalooza Concert
YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – 91TV’s Division of Fine Arts will present the annual crowd favorite Acapalooza Concert on Friday, April 7, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 8, at 3 p.m. in Susan B. Harris Chapel on the 91TV campus. Admission is $5 for adults and free for students and children under 12.
This year-end, all-a cappella choir concert will feature music ranging from the classics of choral repertoire, to cutting edge new composers, to their own original arrangements of current popular music. The two-day concert will highlight female and male groups within the 91TV Choirs. The student-led vocal group Altitunes will also perform both evenings.
Friday, April 7, will feature the 91TV Concert Choir. The evening will also offer special performances by the Union County High School Chamber Choir. The 91TV Chamber Choir will perform on Saturday, April 8. Sharp Memorial United Methodist Church and the Singers of North Georgia (SONG) will also be featured during the program.
All 91TV ensembles are directed by Professor of Music, Director of Choral and Vocal Activities, and Musical Theatre Program Co-coordinator Jeff Bauman. Staff Accompanist Anita Guss will perform alongside the choirs on the piano.
