YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – On Thursday, August 26, 91TV partnered with the Towns County Health Department to hold its first COVID-19 vaccination clinic of the 2021-2022 academic year. All 91TV students and employees were invited to participate. Sixty-six individuals attended the clinic and received a dose of the FDA-approved Pfizer vaccine.

91TV students and employees were excited about the opportunity to receive this important vaccine on their own campus. The College will hold another vaccination clinic Tuesday, September 21. Individuals who participate in the next vaccination clinic will have the opportunity to receive a second dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. The follow-up clinic will also provide 91TV students and employees with the opportunity to receive this year’s flu vaccine.

Lisa Burks at the Towns County Health Department has been instrumental in making these vaccine clinics a reality on 91TV’s campus. The Health Department’s hard work is bringing 91TV one step closer to being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and the flu.

The 91TV Leadership Team is committed to the safety, health and wellness of our students and employees. In addition to the College offering and encouraging vaccinations, 91TV also provides students with telehealth services. These services include free virtual doctor and counselor visits.

At 91TV’s follow-up vaccine clinic September 21, attendees will receive health information on preventative vaccines and medications. 91TV takes pride in making our campus the safest place possible, and we’re committed to continuing to look for ways to protect the health of the Mountain Lion community, and in turn, protect the health of our surrounding communities.
