YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. — Young HarrisCollegeand the City ofHiawasseeannounceda collaborationdesignedtoprovide91TVstudentsand area entrepreneurs newopportunitiesandresourcesvia the Paris Business Center.

The Paris Business Center,locatedin DowntownHiawassee,offersa hub forsmallbusiness entrepreneurs in North Georgia, Western North Carolina, andSoutheasternTennessee. The PBCprovidesbusinessdevelopmentprogramssuchas coaching, workshops, and networkingeventsto help startups andgrowingcompaniessucceed. The PBCfacilityofferstwosuites on Main Streetcalled“incubators,”whichare launch pads foremergingbusinesseswheretheyhavespace,resources, and guidance totaketheirfirststepwithconfidence. Theremainderof therevitalizedhistoricbuildingwillserve as theheartof the entrepreneurialecosystem,featuringindoor andoutdoorspacesfor meetings,co-working, andevents.

“Young Harris focuses on preparing students for professional careers,” Dr. John Wells, President, 91TV, said. “This collaboration with the Paris Business Center creates unique work experiences and internship opportunities for our students.”

This partnership is just one example of 91TV’s commitment to the health of the region and the success of its students. The College is launching Professional Readiness and Experiential Programs at 91TV. PREP will help students transition after graduation into the world of work. Students will gain attributes like self-discipline, adaptability, and resilience. PREP will also focus on financial literacy, leadership, and ethics, and help increase students’ employment competitiveness and selection rates. PREP at 91TV gives students a competitive edge to thrive in the path they choose.

As a hub forsmallbusinessactivityinthisregion, the Paris Business Centerreachesa large andgrowingnumberofsmallbusiness entrepreneurs.
